Good News! Director Ji Xu Leads the Team to Win the First Prize in the Orthosis Clinical Application Skills Competition (Central China Division)

On May 10, 2025, a prestigious gathering in the rehabilitation field took place at China Resources Wugang General Hospital. The 1st Popular Science Competition for Rehabilitation Assistive Devices and the 1st Clinical Skills Competition for Orthoses Application, hosted by the Professional Committee on Rehabilitation Assistive Devices Application of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, were grandly held here.

As a key player in the industry, Zhihui Assistive Devices Health Consulting (Hubei) Co., Ltd. was honored to participate. The team showcased its professional expertise and contributed to the advancement of the rehabilitation assistive devices industry. Ultimately, we claimed the First Prize in the 1st Clinical Skills Competition for Orthoses Application (Central China Division).

The team kept delivering outstanding performances in the competition. Led by Ji Xu, the team members Luo Jiawei and Miao Chenyu completed on-site practical operations and Q&A sessions.

During the practical contest, they demonstrated how to apply rehabilitation assistive devices for correction in accordance with patients’ actual conditions. Every procedure, including orthosis selection, wearing guidance and subsequent adjustment, was conducted with rigorous attention to detail, fully reflecting the team’s solid professional capabilities.

In the morning session of the assistive devices competition, our team focused on diabetic foot projects under the team name Sugar Protection Task Force. Led by General Manager Pan Xiaofei, the popular science group consisting of Li Dan, Peng Xiaojian and Wang Hongyun embraced the challenge with full enthusiasm and professionalism.

At the start of the competition, the team presented an elaborately produced video. With easy-to-understand content, the video began with the basic definition of diabetic foot, and further elaborated on its prevention methods and targeted exercise training for patients. Vivid visuals and concise explanations helped the audience and judges easily grasp the complex medical knowledge.

Later, Li Dan and Wang Hongyun delivered a presentation with PPT slides. The slides were rich and comprehensive, featuring abundant clinical data and targeted application plans for rehabilitation assistive devices. They gave a well-organized and fluent speech, covering the pathology and key rehabilitation points of diabetic foot, as well as the advantages of our company’s products.

Their wonderful presentation won warm applause from the audience. It demonstrated our profound expertise in diabetic foot rehabilitation and helped professionals and spectators gain a deeper understanding of the disease, earning an excellent response on site.
